Here's another guy I briefly dated and added to my crazy list.
He kept insisting I meet his 3yo daughter right away (red flag). He'd only been divorced for 4 months when he found me online on one of those questionnaire-type websites. He was upset that his ex-wife was already dating and it felt like I was thrown into a relationship race. On our first date, he told me that he met his ex-wife online and impregnated her on their first date (red flag). We only knew each other a few weeks when he would show up at my school unannounced (red flag). On our third date, he told me he wanted to build a sex dungeon in his house (HUGE red flag). He was always overly flattering and bragged about how much power & money he had. When I stopped answering his calls and told him my cell phone was broken, he was very insistent on buying me a new phone - even after I'd told him no (several times). He was VERY pushy. I eventually had to threaten getting the police involved before he left me alone.
This was our email exchange after a week of him pestering me to go on another date with him.
I told him I couldn't because I had mid-term papers to write:

I have to work here in a little bit and tomorrow I have classes.
We'll have plenty of time in the future to hang out.
Just focus on your daughter. No worries. These next few weeks are going to be crazy for me........

To the beautiful Aagard,
No wonder you got straight A's last semester. Spending three days on a 2 page paper is quite the commitment. Want me to work with you on your first draft? I used to be a political science major can help you BS with extraordinary speed.
I am going to miss your company. You're going to force me to become a stalker if this keeps up ;).
xoxo

Mr. Creeper,
I'm sure you were just trying to be funny but that stalker statement didn't make me giggle.
I know I've said this before but I'm going to say it again: I can't do a relationship now.
Casual (to me) is only seeing someone a few times a month. I just don't have enough time.
Even though you keep saying you're over your ex-wife, you two were still together for 4 years and that takes some healing. This feels like a competition to see who can get a boyfriend or girlfriend first. Plus there's your daughter. She needs lots of attention right now.
After talking with a therapist, I realized that I have my own issues that need sorting out and I'm going to take a break from the dating game. You're a nice guy and I hope you can find someone that can devote the time to you that you deserve.
Take care,
Aagard

To the heartbreakingly enchanting Aagard,
Did you really think you were going to get out of your obligation that easily? nuh uh. You can't just kidnap my pizza, promise me tattoos and massages, and then walk away.
I'm going to forget your little attempt to tonight. We can pick this up in a few more days,
Mr. Creeper

To the delightfully sparkling and ever enchanting Aagard,
I've been doing a lot of self analysis lately, and you are completely right in your desire to back off.
For me, having lived without a quality companion for the past 4 years has really helped define what I want out of romance. It's also driven me to ' find the right one'. I didn't get to where I am today by sitting on the sidelines, so I hope you'll forgive my type A approach to dating. I will endeavor to better control my emotions with future dates :)
You were nearly perfect in the short time I've known you, and I really don't think you need therapy. However, I applaud your desire to better yourself. Hopefully, once you've worked through your issues, we can pick it up again,
Take Care

Wow! What a freaking lunatic!!! We are definitely in the same boat! I'm surprised I haven't met this one yet! Seems exactly like what I'm used to dealing with. What a nutjob. But I did laugh at his "BS with extraordinary speed" comment. I like how he just totally blew off your "leave me the F alone" email like it never happened. Nope, you don't have the right to stop talking to me. And the stalking comment. My god, that would have been the end for me. Dodged a bullet there for sure.

Big red flag when they can't take 'NO' for an answer. Be careful!!

Another red flag is telling you how perfect you are. None of us are perfect but they tell us that to flatter our egos and suck us in. Creepy motherf-ers.
