Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
I need to rant tonight as a result of the lies my ex-S has reported about me to our volunteer organization.
I've been volunteering at this center for almost two years helping out at the kitchen to clean up and wash dishes. The head of our volunteer team mentioned some stolen things like pots and pans, and she seemed to be eyeing me very carefully and giving me an attitude lately. I know it's because she was told these lies and to keep a watch me. That center has all kinds of people, and even rambunctious teenagers walking through it. Any staff member could have taken things.
Now they think I have some kind of motive for volunteering so much. Why would I need to steal petty things?
I know my ex-S was behind this. He stole from me and now he's ruining my credibility if I ever tried to charge him.

Can you talk openly and honestly to your boss? I had to do this with my ex as he was threatening to call my work. At the time I was going through so much - but I think that it just confirmed to them that I really shouldnt be back at work. It was an absolute nightmare, and just went on and on - but I was doing a job working with vulnerable people.
I think being open and honest might help (in my case I had other things going on and this was just one more thing on top of everything else) but for you if you have otherwise been a good employee, i would imagine that they would listen. They might appreciate you coming forward rather than them suspecting you? I really feel for you! :(
