Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
LOL Have you ever had predicted what the N/S in your life would do and then just laughed when it came to fruition?
We had a hearing scheduled for this upcoming Monday. My ex is accusing me of Contempt of Court for withholding visitation of our 15yo daughter after we signed an agreement in mediation stating our daughter had a choice in visits. Totally false accusations and he never served me with papers. The only way I discovered it was on the docket was by calling the courthouse. It's just another revenge tactic IMHO.
So to counter his contempt filing, I requested a pre-trial hearing to clarify & update our parenting plan and requested they be heard on the same day since I live out of state. This was done over 2 months ago.
2 DAYS ago, he files a continuance request and doesn't tell me. Again, thank god I have the court's number on speed-dial and call them often to make sure my ex isn't pulling the sneaky maneuvers I expect from him.
HAD I NOT called the court myself, I would have driven the 1,000 back there yesterday only to find out our case had been rescheduled.
Come on, family court.... does this really sound like a guy who wants to cooperate or a guy who is just trying to make his ex-wife's life as miserable as he can?
SOOOOOO no court on Monday, which is good in some ways. I can focus on mid-terms this weekend and we have more time to prepare. I can now see about getting our daughter a Guardian ad Litem or someone to give her a voice in the courtroom.
ALWAYS GET A SOLID PARENTING PLAN / CUSTODY ORDER.
Don't leave any room for ambiguity because a N/S will exploit it and try to use it against you.

My ex was ordered to go to counseling - as far as I know, that hasn't happened.
I feel ya completely. I'm fairly certain mine doesn't want kids either, but he's learned that being labeled a "good dad" is what gets him his followers. Especially since his own father was an absentee parent and his own family essentially hates him.
His family thinks my ex poops gold and he only dates girls with daddy issues.
