Victims of Psychopaths Community Group
Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.
In the film "What About Bob", the main antagonist (or protagonist, depending on how you look at it), Doctor Marvin (played by Richard Dreyfus) characterizes the protagonist ,Bob (played by Bill Murray), as a "textbook narcissist, a brilliant sociopath". If you haven't seen the film, here's a brief rundown of just who Bob's character is:
Bob is basically a self-obsessed hypochondriac with what Dreyfus calls a "multiphobic personality" (he's afraid of a bunch of different things) with a fixation on psychology and treatments for his conditions. His fear of almost everything does not, however, hinder him from manipulating those around him (dressing up in disguises, faking suicide) to uncover the location of his Doctor with whom he is obsessed.
People with BPD and HPD are known to be "attention whores". They are both very clingy, selfish, dissociative, and manipulative. The person whom I discuss on here, like Bob, seems to derive a sense of euphoria from making videos about psychology where she looks like an expert. She also has claimed to have, whether directly or otherwise, at least 16 different mental disorders (yes, I've counted), many of which, according to the DSM, would exclude the possibility of co-morbidity with others she mentions. Also, she seems to be in the habit of intentionally sending herself to psyche wards, perhaps because she gets bored.
Could people like Bob, like her, be addicted to thinking, pretending, or perhaps pretending and subsequently thinking, that they are ill with things as a sort of "narcissistic supply"? Does anyone know anyone like this?

my father who is s/p would send me to psych wards tons of times because he got bored. he would even call the police to do so to stir up excitement and a dramatic situation of him interacting with police alarming them of his allegedly disturbed daughter even lying directly to them claiming i was not taking my psych medication anymore when in reality there was no medication prescribed for me, he fooled police they didnt even ask to look at proof.. i think him being able to get away with lying to the police and alarming them creating drama with police and ambulance workers was the motive for him to keep calling the police on me dozens of times over 100 for years of time.sometimes 3 times in 2 days. telling them bizarre stories about me how im suicidal or emotionally disturbed or other non true things.
he even would call and visit the psych hospital while i was there and act as the 2nd psychiatrist telling misleading non true details to the psychiatrist there and making up dramatic events that did not happpen.
i think tho that is common among munchausens by proxy, usually it is a parent claiming their child is mentally or physically ill even after doctors dont find the matching symptoms or results as what the parent says is the problem
but i guess it can be any age
but they do that for attention and to get pity from professionals
yep my father has gone to court over a dozen times for all these nonsense frivolous lawsuitsand court orders against me only to create drama for himself, he likes the police and court enviroments. he even money to hire a lawyer to go against me in court many times since i turned 18. i guess it is a reinforcement to him or something motivates him by him being able to manipulate supreme court judges, lawyers and psychologists. he even made friends with the court ordered forensic psychologist who saw nothing wrong with him and got him to lie about me before the court trial.
thats the type of drama that he likes to deal with. being able to manipulate psychiatrists, mental hospitals, police, court, ambulance workers all while harming his own child. i lost a few teeth because he lied to some psychiatrst and told him i was on a certain medication that i was never on,. turned out i was allergic to the medication when they gave it to me at my fathers request i got a severe neuroligical reaction to it something happened to my jaw and i broke an entire row of 4 teeth due to not being able to close my jaw from the psych medication. the dentist had to do root canals on all of the teeth and most were too badly broken and need to be pulled. i was 21 then
he likes the police court, psychiatry drama, he claims that he is a psychiatrist and is an expert on psych medication. even tho he never went to medical school and has no psychiatry degree but he is fascinated with the mental health and court systems like single minded . like how an autistic person might be fascinated by trains
almost everytime he talks he is bringing up things about mental health psychiatry topics or the police and court system

I believe that's called "Munchausen's by Proxy", though I could be wrong. It's supposed to be when a parent either subjects a child to abuse to cause something wrong with them, or convinces them to con others into thinking there is something wrong with them, so they can take them to P.D's or M.D.'s to attract attention and or sympathy to themselves. At least I think that's what its called, I know that's a condition, though.
