Is he or she a sociopath or psychopath? Think we're only talking about serial killers here? Psychopaths, sociopaths and even narcissists come in every walk of life, every career level, and every socio-economic category.

Why do they want/keep pictures or items that belong to you?
I think its so strange
If they despise us or don't care about us why do they want these things???

1)A while back my sister let my ex borrow her camera . He returned it but the sd card ,which had several pictures of me,was missing. He would ALWAYS look through my pictures in my phone. During the time that we dated he kept bugging me to let him take indiscreet pictures of me and videos. Whenever I would be laying in the bed (with my eyes closed) or be bending down to pick something up(with my back turned) he would quickly take a picture then say that he would delete it (after i found out)

2)His brother(also a sociopath) asked my sister for one of my prom pictures. This freaked me out because he's always two faced and rude to me so why would he want my picture? It made me think he was up to something....

3)My other ex was obsessed with taking pictures of me also (but not indiscreet) and he still has pictures of us and his other ex's on facebook like its just for show or something. it bothers me

They see it as a collection or something, from their victims. I think my exNh took my bra...as he was busy with that/it before we married. It wouldnt surprise me. They take thropies or what they call it because it reminds the sociopath of that they had that victim, something like that. I think it gives them a sick sense of pleasure.

Sometimes they try take pictures so they can humiliate us later with it, if the pics are taken without agreeing. My exS tried do the same, take a pic of me and if I let him take that pic it would be horrible, thank God I bent away.

My most recent xN still has pics of his ex (who he claims he has no respect for, but who he also claims he is not over) still keeps pics of her kids (who he insists hate him) in his wallet.

One xN kept panties of all the women he had ever been with. (except mine bcz I refused to give them to him). They're freaks.

Mine always stole something at the end of the relationship. They say that psychopaths who kill always take something from their victim as a 'trophy' creepy huh?

I think you are on to something. My ex p/s was always taking pics of himself and of us being intimate. He would send me pics just about every morning. I liked it. But deep down i thought it was so he could blackmail me in the future. He could never blackmail me because I'm comfortable with who i am. He also had a keyring with flash drives. I can only imagine what a collection pics he had. Towards the end i discovered he was a sex addict. goodbye idiot.

haha my gooness..dead phones??? unless he manage to make the dead phones alive again...that at least made no sense, maybe he found the phones thinking about it like a connection he had with them over the phone. Very sick!

They're so weird! Someone here mentioned about ex pictures?? Yup, my exS does the same thing. He would have pictures of his exs posted in his bedroom, and he claimed one of them hates him.

Pure unadulterated narcissism ... and all part of the act of trying to blend in with normal people perhaps? (he wouldn't want folk thinking he was a psycho now would he??). Failing that, the agenda may be to solicit sympathy for his poor broken heart. (?)

In short, these people are screwed up .. and therefore you cannot analyse their behaviour, because you have no experience of what it really feels like to be a psychopath. You will drive yourself mad trying to look for answers to questions about why they behave in any given way, they do not think like you and I ... their brain is wired up differently.
