YOGA--I can't say enough about it!!! I was starting to feel like a broken record and it is nice to hear someone agree with me. When a friend saw me looking haggard in the early stages of my crisis, she suggested I try yoga. I was a skeptic at first and I thought it sounded boring, but I am so glad I did because now I am hooked. My head is still kind of a mess and yoga is my souce of serenity. When I leave yoga class, I always feel like I've had a massage/therapy/smoked a joint. It is a great way to relax and also get in shape.

I third this form of exercise. I've been taking yoga for years and it really does help center you and for me a quiet place to pray. :)

Yeah, it does become boring sometimes, but the benefits are amazing. It really gets you off that emotional rollercoaster....Glad it helped you too, girls :)

Au contraire, I don't think it is boring at all! I thought it sounded boring before I tried it, but there is such a wide variety of poses and breathing exercises, and there is always room to keep improving.

They are starting to do yoga with prison inmates as a low-cost way for them to "reflect on their crimes, improve their fitness and cope with the stress of overcrowded prison life." (NYT) It helped female inmates decrease their symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Have you ever tried face yoga exercise? Regular face yoga exercises helped me to remove facial wrinkles and restore muscle tone.
