I can't believe I am writing this but I am too scared to tell my family. My Dad is a sheriff and I don't want to alarm him. I have been in this relationship for about 2 years now. He is a hardworking, caring, and fun guy. But last Friday he went off on my girlfriend while her and kids were over swimming over the N word. He said even black people can say it, so can can he. She got upset with him because she is half black. It got so out of control, I had to ask her and her family to leave. The next evening Saturday, he went in on me...calling my friend a controlling black bitch who rules her husband and her kids. Then he said F U to me and get out. I have NEVER in my life have been talked to that way and called the police. I have never called the police on anyone. So the police came by and said we seemed like a nice couple and maybe one of us should leave the house for a few days. So I did. I came home 2 days later, things seemed to go back to normal. BUT last night, it started AGAIN. He started saying "you black people"...black men need to raise their kids..he went on to say thanks to me he can't buy a gun now because I called the police on him and now he is in the system. I explained to him again that I was not raised in a home with loud talking and cussing and asked him to please stop. I don't feel safe in my own home anymore. We were suppose to go Palm Springs this weekend but I am scared to go.
