Coping with the summer heat

How are people coping in the summer heat waves? I use the TENA Slip Active Fit all-in-ones and have found that the padding breaks up if I get too hot and sweaty as well as wet and have to change more often to avoid leaks. I also used to get terrible nappy rash but have found using Johnson's Baby lotion whenever I change stops it as well as keeping me a bit fresher. At night I avoid wearing plastic pants over my nappy and accept that I may have some leaks. Consciously drinking a lot more water throughout the day also means I have to change more often and at night I will frequently go through two nappies...assuming I actually wake up!

I hate heat waves. I usually wear plastic backed diapers (Betterdry or Northshore Supreme) but when it’s too hot I switch to cotton feel backed diapers. I also tried to sleep on a bed pad without any other protection. Well, not the best idea I ever had.

When I see the word 'slip' it makes me think this is a UK based product?
Regardless, here in the US Tena has a few products although I can't keep up with the changing packaging and terminology... super, maximum, stretch, total, ultimate.. ultra lol such bs

About the heat and being active, I've gone through the same clumping problems too. Changing - although not always possible is the only thing that works for me 100%.
Clothbacked Tena 'Complete+Care' and Prevail 'Air' have been my go to's in this heat and not too prone to clumping.

P.S.
That lotion is coconut oil based rather than petroleum based and I think that accounts for it not destroying the glue that hold the gathers and all that stuff together.
My experience has been the same -plus who wants to use petroleum there?

I don't have much feeling down there. And I am unable to move or control My bodies movements. I have to be careful about the heat. My body has problems regulating temperature. I do often just lay on a bed pad without any protection. But when I am in My wheelchair or over night. I have to use the adult diaper briefs. HDIS sells many products for rashes and general skin care. We use several. I didn't get out a lot this summer but more then the last couple years at least. I only had a couple very mild starts of a rash. And it never developed any further.
