We keep having massive fights but it's always my fault. My husband takes no ownership in anything.
He gets so angry now its horrible, it makes me wish I could melt into water and disappear. He is not a violent man but he yells at me in front of the kids and I hate that. He can't just talk he has to yell and the look in his eyes is horrible. I don't understand how the smallest things frustrate him so much compared to all the things I have to do.
He thinks its ok to yell cause he's a man and has testosterone.
I'm not perfect, but I at least feel like I have tried to change and make more of an effort in some areas but he's the same, why do I have to donallbthe changing. Hes a big one for double standards. He can do water ever but God help me if it's me he loses his shit. He won't go to counseling.
I cook, clean, in charge of finances, work, do all the gardening except the lawns, washing, I get all the kids bdays and xmas presents. I'm the one who organizes everything down to what we eat or appointments we need as he just gets too frustrated. Even when it's takeaway night I have to order or go and get it.
He hates me being in control but won't help.
My husband has become verbally abusive and a "problem" drinker. When he gets mad he will yell, call me terrible names. Tells me im a loser, a piece of $*it, etc. All in front of our young daughter.
His family thinks leaving him is bad for our child. But I know better. They claim they want to help, but they don't do anything.
I work from home full time, plus handle house and child duties with little to no help.
Im currently trying to find a better job so that I can start saving money to leave. Ive also organized my jewelry in order to sell it to fund my escape.
