I'm sick of the stereotype of Bipolar. There are different levels to it and not everyone has every symptom. My husband looked up the disorder and used it against me, every bit of it. I did slip one time and met another man in the beginning of our relationship and spent everyday trying to make up for it. After that he left me once a year to go be with other women. I forgave him and took him back because he needed to get even. He breaks me down by saying horrible things to me. Ive taken responsibility for what I did. I know I hurt and betrayed him. I met the guy I didnt sleep with him but I know it hurts. He had a pregnancy scare with a girl and I stood by him. I tried so hard to be there but he wont let me. The disorder makes me a horrible person he says. But that is not true people with the disorder have feeling and care and need understanding that we make mistakes like everyone else. How is it fair to punish me for the last 8 years of our relationship because of things that show up on bipolar when you Google it? I've talked to people on this site and another group who are so caring and understanding and him being a "normal" person is so cruel and mean. I'm starting to think I'm not the one who is horrible and it because of people here. People here care about others they don't even know and thats a wonderful thing in my eyes and warms my heart. So thank you all for listening

Maybe you need to rethink your relationship with him. he should love and support u no matter what, not use ur illness against you. I hope u find someone better to be with. a person who loves another does not say horrible things to them. u need a more understanding person.

sometimes our place in life determines how compassionate we are. I am not supporting your boyfriend, just saying. you are not horrible, your response is so kind. you have people here who care. give the relationship space and you will know if it is for you.
