Sorry again, Breathes, I think we all end up in 'specialised' groups. My health is not too bad at the moment and I tend to drop in and out of groups like 'cage' and 'open minds' and some of the lighter humour sites.
However, I do drop in here now and again to check on our fellow UK members. Not sure how others feel? Speak out!
Hi i live down here in beautiful Cornwall !......i joined here firstly because its for the UK and to look for any new information on my illness etc , the same reasons showgirl joined really ...i do pop in from time to time , but i have fibromyalgia with the chronic fatigue and sometimes i am just to exhausted to visit too long . I will try and pop in more often ....hope everyone has a good day and wonderful week-end ....love and hugs Ellie xx
Hi Ellie - yes I joined this group for same reason but as Scarlett and Showgirl mention it is quiet here. Piety there is not more activity really. You all have a great weekend too. Hope to see you again soon. Good wishes and Hugs
Hi all, I am in Chester, England. I joined this group a while back but I am a member of many other DS groups too. I am a recovered alcoholic but interested in all health discussions. The subject I am most experienced in is alcoholism and how it affected my life and those around me but I am gradually learning more about healthy living. Many of my friends have been severely affected health-wise by alcoholism but are in recovery now. One thing I have learned is that the human body is amazing and there is so much we can do to help ourselves. Best wishes to all.
Hiya, i dont think there are very many uk users of ds. I have found people in the us very helpful and switched on. It's nice to contact people in the uk though with similar problems x
Hya all! im in alot of other groups! but will try and remember to come on here more often! ive fybromyalgia, asthma copd, arthritis, ddd, high bp and the list goes on!!! but hey I agree there are nice folkes from america etc but it is also nice to find others closer to home!! x.x.
i must admit that i havnt been on ds much recently with all the commotion that has been going on with me, but i do think its great that we can talk about things that affect us all with people that will understand the way our health system works.

Hi there,I am from Ashford Kent used to live in London up untill 1st Aug
there are some of us here,I like the idear as our system of things are not the same as other countrys so we can understand better.
I am a UKer and have been on here for 4 years, and this is the first time I have come across anything relating to the UK. Most of my friends on here are American. A handful are Brits, (Oh how I hate that term!) I am English. What is this site all about, the intro at the top there says UK NHS private treatment. There is no such thing.
Im an Uker on this site. Im from Wales. I think its nice to able to talk to others who are closer to home. I have depression and Im finding this site very helpful and supportive.
xx

I do pop back here from time to time
I do feel information re UK health and contacts would be very useful should we need extra assistant through the UK health authorities.
Good wishes
big hugs to you all xxx
