Another month, another AF

Feels like it's never going to happen. This is my last cycle of femara alone coming up then we are going to try femara and IUI. When I was home visiting my parents my mom was going through all these old baby clothes. She is having a yard sale and wants to get rid of them. I asked if she would keep some of the cuter ones for me and she just gave me the stink eye, like "YOU?" She said something to the effect of the danger to the baby if you are an older mother. Thanks mom.

Sorry your Mom said that insensitive comment to you, not okay!!! Sorry this cycle was a bust but keep your head up hon, IUI's do work!!

Sending a lot of baby dust your way! IUIs do work, sometimes after several attempts, so it's normal if it didn't work right away. It is going to happen! Just believe:)
Your mom shouldn't have said that. That was rude and insensitive. Sometimes family has this ability to get under our skin and hurt our feelings like no one else. But please, don't let it affect you anymore. It is hard for people to understand what we go through.
My mom had me at 39, she was almost 40 and I turned out to be fine, with a perfect health. Your baby will be healthy too.:)
