Transgender Support (FtM ONLY) Community Group
I made this because I noticed the lack of Transgender groups on this site that are SPECIFICALLY for Guys. I came on this site for support because I am really bad at talking to people in real life, I am actually really shy and uncomfortable around people in real. Please if you can give support to another trans person or just need someone who will listen feel free to join!

Welp I made this post because as we all know the craptastic things on our chests are annoying and vary uncomfertable! So I am going to help you out and tell you ways you can give the illusion of a male chest and of corse flatten those b**ches down! if you are too young to get the top half surgery or you don't have enough money at the time! I hope you find it helpful!
First things first let me list the DON'Ts with binding:
1. NEVER use duck tape or any type of tape.
2. NEVER sleep with your chest binded, this can cause serious back pain and mess up your ribs.
3. If you have a hard time breathing after wearing it for an hour it is TOO TIGHT!
Now for the actual tips!
1. Use large ace knitted bandages with valcroe ends
This one is actually the technique I use and it seems to be the most comfertable and works the best! First make sure the bandages are wide enough depending on how large your chest size is this will determin how many bandages you should use. I use two one for compressing and one on top of the first one for keeping the other in place and secure. You will want to cut off one velcroe edge of the bandage since most ace valcroe banadages attach one way, you will need the valcroe peice you cut off to valcroe it togather. After you cut it off and bandage it around you, your done! It will take some time to get use to but I garentee you once you get use to it and get the hang of wrapping it, it will work well!
2. Use a compression shirt with a sports bra underneith
Okay this one I personally don't like because I feel like wearing a bra is for girls not boys and I also feel like using it is an insult to my masculinity, but it can work and maybe some of you don't really mind to much, epecially since ace bandages can be expencive and they do get warn out so you would have to buy another set. So how this one works is simiply put a tighter sports bra on and then get a mens compression shirt in your size or maybe one size smaller and wear it over the bra, you can then wear what ever shirt you want on top and it should not make your chest as visable and look more masculine. Only problems with this one is it is a bra and it is made to support and lift the chest area, so it will not give you the flattest apearence but it may work for you! Men's compression shirts are sold by verious sports name brands and should beable to be found at your local fitnesswear store.
3. Use scarfs to make like a compression band
Okay for one I am going to clear up, these scarf need to be big enough to comfertable tie around your upper torso area, so there for if you have to struggle to make a full wrap around your chest then they are too small! you need to beable to breath comfertable with them on so they also have to be a streachy matirial that can flex, lastly of course they need to be wide enough. Okay now I will explain how to use this method, first you will need multipul scarfs all similer in size, then wrap one scarf at a time around until your chest seems reasonable flat (IF YOU CAN NOT BREATH COMFERTABLY OR EVEN TAKE A FULL DEEP BREATH, THEY ARE TOO TIGHT!), then either tie it or use a safty pin, make sure the safty pin will not come undone or you will get hurt by it, also I would recommend try the options above because this method all though the cheapest is not the best and is actually pretty unsafe, not to mention these scarfs can easily come undone so if your in school still you should probably not try this method for school. REMEMBER ALTHOUGH THIS IS THE CHEAPEST METHOD, CHEAPEST DOES NOT ALWAYS MEAN BEST! THIS IS ACTUALLY THE WORST METHOD TO USE, AND THAT IS WHY IT IS LAST ON THE LIST!
Hope this helped you all! Good luck! and please be safe and take percations when binding!
