Just wondered if anybody with tourettes makes noises at the back of their throat like me has well has minor ticks.

I'm 56 year old male never been doctors with this but has had massive effect on my mental health over the years.

The worst point was when I lost my voice to a virus and I couldnt make the noise in the back of my throat it was terrible built up for weeks anybody had this ? And hi everyone

Hi! I’m a 53 year old female with Tourette’s. I sometimes feel that the tics of Tourette’s are easier to deal with than the mental health issues that go with it. (Sometimes).
It’s not an easy thing to deal with day after day after day.
I haven’t had the issue you spoke about but I have had sore throats due to a vocal tic. And then it hurt to perform that tic. It’s always something with Tourette’s!

Thanks for reply had massive effect when couldnt do the vocal tick lasted for 2 months then came back so funny I was in supermarket and I tried it so loud probably loudest I've ever done everyone looked at me I want bothered but so relieved.
