My daughter was talking about the band Queen this weekend, who were my favorite band back in high school. Today, my tastes lean toward Keith Urban, SugarLand, Dixie Chicks, and other country-rock musicians, as well as Pink (I don't get it either!).

I thought it might be fun to list who our then and now favorites are? So mine:

Ooh, I love Toby Keith too! And Elton John, and Huey Lewis and the News. We do have good taste in music, if I do say so myself :-)

Laura, the Newsboys are good, but give me Mark Shultz any time. MAtter of fact, I just got to see him live a couple of weeks ago. talk about a great show!

If you get a chance, don't miss an Andrew Peterson concert. Mark Shultz was just here, but we couldn't afford the tickets.

I really like the Newsboys, but I won't pay through the nose for another concert. Did it once . . . .

I'm another Prince fan! Purple Rain forever. ACDC, ZZ Top, White Snake, even some Beastie Boys (LOL)...and I still like them all. My tastes run from that style all the way to CCR and BB King. Nickelback too, from my hometown...so have to love Chad Kruger. Lenny Kravitz...LOVE him, saw him in a special, small concert (hubby surprised me) and I almost pee'd myself when he was so close I could smell him...he smelled great by the way!

Then Led Zeppelin, John Cougar Mellencamp, Bocephus, AC/DC, Def Leppard, ZZ Top, Bon Jovi, Judas Priest, Kiss, Price, Micheal Jackson, B52s Aerosmith, Metallica, Kenny Rogers, Lionel Ritchie, Gloria Estaphon. I love all kinds of music, Conway Twitty, George Jones

Now Mercy Me, Newsboys, Micheal W Smith, Casting Crowns, FFH, and love reminising with the 1980's music brings back soooo many memories.

Believe it or not my daughter likes some of the oldies Beatles, Jethro Toll Queen and more.
and new artists..... which we both like Fuergie, and others I don't remember group names....
I find that amazing.....
