Good Friday/Easter are approaching:)
The resurrection of our Saviour!!!!
Sadly:(:(:( Society has turned this into a Pagan Holiday!!!!
Think about it!! We see bunnies, eggs, baskets, etc....it took me about 20 minutes to find a "spirit/religous based Easter card"????? WHAT????????
Christmas, likewise...it is Santa, Rudolph, Frosty, presents.....and again, last December I looked forever for a card with a Manger Scene!!!!!!!!
I know this stuff is for "kids" but adults, companies, and marketing are the worst!!! I am fortunate, my father instilled in me at a young age the "true" meaning of these 2 days!!!

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
This scripture reminds me that the world will do "sparkly, glittery{ things to take my eyes of God.
I am reminded of when the disciples went across the Sea of Galilee without Jesus. He sent them ahead by promising He would follow them. They had no idea!!!! (story is found in Matthew 14 starting at verse 22)
A storm came up. They got scared. They were praying to their God.
What has this got to do with Easter and Christmas?!?! Be patient.
They saw a figure on the water. At first they thought it was a ghost. Then, someone recognized Him. It was Jesus!! Walking on the water no less.
Peter said, "If it's really you, Lord, command me to come to you."
Jesus said, "OK, cone!!!"
Then..........Peter was able to walk on water............as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus!!!
In verse 30, he took His eyes off Jesus and got distracted by what was going on around Him. Then, he started to sink. He had to call to Jesus to be rescued.
Here is my point, don't let what the world does take your eyes off Jesus!!!
