Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Support Group
Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) consists of a group of distinct disorders that affect the nerves in the brachial plexus (nerves that pass into the arms from the neck) and various nerves and blood vessels between the base of the neck and armpit.
So glad these support groups exist...I'm hoping to connect with others to learn and support you. Nerve issues are horrible and I'm new to this and don't know if I could deal with this for the rest of my life.
About a year ago I was experiencing major neck and back pain. I was frequenting the chiropractor 3 times a week to try and get the pain under control. Then 3 months ago, I noticed numbness and tingles in my right hand. It spread to my left hand and sometimes my feet. Feeling so scared... I went to my primary doc and had a EMG done (normal). Then had a cerivcal MRI done. That showed moderate degenerative changes in C4- C6 and showed ridiculopathy in the cervical spine... The neuropathy is horrendous in my hands...mostly the right. The more research that I do... I think I have thoratic outlet syndrome. My hands are so cold all the time. I googled today and found some exercises to do and I actually found some relieve. It was huge for me today... I actually was able to enjoy the day with my family.
I'm praying this is a breakthrough...

The symptoms have subsided in hands and feet, now I just have the neck pain. Finished up with 6 weeks of corrective adjust ments and was making progress. The is past week pain came back bad. Looking to get injections now.
