A child learns to be confident in their ability to walk by taking small steps and not giving up when they fall. They just practice walking more until they can run.

Good advice. Start small. I am going to have to think of some small things that I can setup as goals. I need to consider things that I have a chance to be successful with as I really need to get some confidence and self esteem back.
Jen, I am glad you are taking your potassium. That is great goal. Could you mix it into a fruit smoothie or something like that to lessen the taste? I am glad you brought that up because I really should be taking calcium but it tastes bad too. I make a smoothie every morning. I think I will try adding calcium tomorrow. Hey is that a goal? I think I just made a short term goal. Add calcium to my smoothie tomorrow.
S.M.A.R.T goal test
specific - yes
measurable - yes
achievable - yes
result - I did not identify that taking calcium will help keep my bones strong.
Time bound - yes.
It is a goal. A small goal.
I understand. I have skipped meds lately because the depression of the job lost is setting in. I asked hubby to remind me every morning so I get back on schedule. Took them today but just now I almost could not remember I had took them. I am not sleeping right again. Trying to not slip back down the rabbit hole.
