The Tea Room Community Group
This is a private group by invitation only. It is a group for those who have a loved one with a brain injury. This group was not founded by me but I will serve as the founder temporarily as one of the first members.
I hope you're all doing ok. I haven't stopped in here in months and was suprised to see the changes. Even my password had expired.
Anyway, I do have some exciting news and it just seems right to share it here. I'm getting married! It's going to be a huge change but a wonderful one. I never would have gotten to the place I am in now without all of you. I have grown so much as a person and I can say for the first time in years that life is genuinely good. Kidlet is doing mostly fine, he still has anxiety problems and things aren't always great with his dad but he is growing up to understand it.
If any of you happen in to be Alberta next spring, dates are TBA yet, you're invited to our celebration BBQ.

I havent been here for a year I guess just dropped by to see if anyone else had. shocked by the changes too. I am still in contact with 2 DS friends not from this group sadly.
We have been very busy too. My Husband and I sold our little hous and with our son moved to Northern Ontario. I keep better in the fresh air! Winter isnt too bad, snow but not the teerrible storms they are having in mid western Ontario. We are living with son in the cute bungalow he bought. with what we recieved for oour house we could buy a condo here but not ready for that and son isnt up to living completly alone. He isnt able to go to work, mentally. Very little stress can upset him greatly. \we get along pretty well, as long as we are careful to be simple explicit and concise in wording and not use too many. He has become very happy and content. so our house hold has 2 adult males, 3 female dogs and me.
our youngestt is doing well with his heavy equipment job, and lives with his GF now a very nice girl. We miss him but he hopes to get up soon and go icefishing. was coming after new year but storms kept him bound at home. This is the only draw back, but we will go down in nice weather.
writing a book.
On a down side my back has given out onme. an old injury in the lower part has worn oout and shifted live with managable pain or risk fusion and worse pain, it is a wit and see game.
