Havent yet, btdo have the oddglass of wine, going to speak to Dr about it

You know that I am as i posted to RunGirl. After3 1/2 years I was done, all my super powers drained and exhausted. I am taking Celexa. Not sure why the doctor chose that one but it is cheap, only 4 bucks a month. I can deal with that. I also resorted to wine or tequila but that was not taking care of how I felt during the day while at work. Having an anxiety attack at work when the phone rings is not good since I answer the phones all day long. I think I have been conditioned to expect shitty news when it rings.

Nope . . . I think medication has it's place and that is w/me. I know the world of depression and despair too well; therefore, I NEED my Paxil just to help keep me afloat.

I am med free and I am thankful I have been able to stay that way. That said, I eat and am up a few lbs. If I enjoyed alcohol more I could see how it could become a comfortable friend. I do take alot of vitamin D, see a councellor and have a close friend who I can talk with. Oh ya, I also avoid whenever possible. There are times when I avoid my husband so I don't have to deal with him.

I am med free but have spoken with the dr...a few times. We always end our conversation by saying if I am not feeling better in two weeks I'll call him back to get a prescription. My struggles are not nearly as awful as many of you. DON"T get me wrong I have some very tuff times, even at our 2 year mark I miss my husband just as much... But I am able to sorta get away from it all more so than many of you.....That is one reason I don't post alot....Sometimes I feel y tribulations are insignificant next to many of you.
IF YOU NEED MEDS get them for a while......It is no disgrace!!!
Nothing is as depressing as loosing the peson you love to be given a new one that is completely different and often pretty messed up, undepenable and irresponsible...
But I sure still love him!!!!!!!!

It is such a hard traumatic thing to get through. And when you do, it still isnt over, it may never be over to a certian point. I am one that said I take meds, without them I may not have been able to be the caregiver/mother/nurse, I had to be. Love you all my sisters.

Same for me here. I went on Lexapro after I quit smoking, I got so depressed. Then when I hurt my back and had surgery I started smoking again. Then the accident happened and the doc doubled my dosage. I am trying to cut down to the original dosage. So far so good.
Aef please dont feel your problems are insignificant compared to anyone's. I really relate to you and love to see your posts.
