i knew of her because my friend(guy) liked her. i then dated her friend because of it. we were often around each other for a few months then. she broke up with my friend, and we went out. i ended up dating her sister... my bad. i kind of quit dating after that... we were mainly friends. we kissed a few times, but we were mainly friends. i remember going to her house after school to like 4:00 in the morning, then walking home. or we would go to a local coffee club and listen to new bands and meet friends. we broke up cause sex became a problem. i think we dated for like 6 - 7 months. i kind of burned all my bridges, and ruined all my friendships.

The first time that I fell in love, I now realize wasnt really love. I was just younger and dumber. But at the time, it fell like love. I met the guy at community college. I was really naive, and this guy seemed like he was so nice and so funny. And he was 2 years older : ). Anyway, we hung out for a few months, then I found out that he had a girlfriend the whole time. And stupid me, I still kept seeing him for a while.

Then one day, he just dissapeared. Never answered his phone, never called mine. And by that time, the class that we had together was over, so if he was still going to the same school as me, he was avoiding me like the plague.And so, my heart was really broken for the first time. But, I mainly blame myself.

Truthfully? I have always held everyone at arms length. A 21 year marriage gone down the pooper has really soured me on the idea..even though it was never a real marriage to begin with...more like...a convenience.
As for love......I don't think I've been there.

I was 22 and met Cathy. 2 years later we married and were together a total of 10 1/2 years. She was 7 years my senior and it didn't matter she made me feel complete. Her eyes had me transfixed. The most beautiful eyes on a woman I had ever seen up to that point. We cuddled and made long passionate love and I gave her my heart and then she cheated on me. My world was crushed ever since her I have trouble trusting. I am afraid of getting hurt again. After her I only had 1 relationship that lasted any length of time. I hope she is happy with the jerk she is with now. They deserve eachother. I mean since he was seeing her when she was married to me then they both will probably cheat on each other eventually. It goes with the territory.
