I want to say that I am honestly a really nice women. Everyone here says I am "too" nice. I have been cheated on, many times, even by the same man!, physically abused, emotionally abused, But somehow I still am still too nice. the one time I finally fell in love with this guy, I guess he said all the right things. but we got married, and divorced within 4 years. He had been a cheater before I knew him, so I know.. why would I think he wouldn't do it to me? I thought I was different. But then he cheated on me many times, over and over. But I am now still single after almost 6 years. I tried to have another relationship, but couldn't let go of my x. He still comes around and says all the things he can do to keep pulling me back., he has been with so many different women since me now. and still tries to tell me how much he wants "us". All his actions are so confusing. he acts like it then he doesn't.

I have given him so many chances to be honest with me, and just tell me the truth. I would honestly leave him alone and deal with the grief all over again. I am thinking about this fall moving out of state. as far away as I can from him. Yes it may be running, but if that's what it takes to get away from someone who is just playing games with me.

One big thing here is, he is so controlled by his Mother. Always has and always will, at least until she is gone. He is no man, to let her treat him like that. He says he wants to be with me, but SHE needs him. My therapist even has said, after knowing the whole story, that she is replacing him as her "husband" Sick! she is always wanting to know what he is doing, where he is, why doesn't he spend more time with her.. everything that a wife/girlfriend would say.

I know that right now, I need to walk away and get out of his sick world, but has anyone else been in this situtation before? I am alone. I have 3 kids, and I refuse to ever be one of those mothers that is always naging them to be with me, etc. After I see what she has done to her Son.. no way. by the way... he is 58! I am 52. we are at the time of our lives that we should be able to enjoy our lives, do what we want.

I am tired of being alone and single. I want someone to love and most of all, love me back. Want to be with me, etc. I want someone that will put me first for once. That can't wait to see me, or if he wants to live with me, then do it! How do we know if they are one of my X's? Every since I met him, our lives have always reloved around his Mother. It's time to cut those apron strings!
