The Serenity Room Community Group
A quiet place to reflect. A place where we can feel safe to explore who we are and where we are going. a place where we have the opportunity to create positive change and learn new techniques. A place to walk through our journeys together. "When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."
Unlike dogs, cats don't really need people. They can take care of themselves for the most part, and even in the case of those who have become dependent on their humans, I doubt if they realize their dependence, therefore, they are with us (unless trapped in the house and hiding in the corner), because they want to be. I've seen plenty of situations where the cat and human co-exist in the home, but the cat only tolerates the human, except to become ingratiating at meal time.
