I don't know what to tell you about the ativan, maybe try it just once and see how you feel? If you don't like the feeling or it makes you feel like the xanax did you just don't take it again?????

Oh please. it will be okay. I promise. There are days that our anxiety gets so bad that we feel like just giving in, but it will get better. I would seriously consider trying the ativan. I am sure it will help a lot!

No you don't wish you were dead...you wish the anxiety would just stop, we all know how you feel babe, HONESTLY I do! You are not online tonight that I see. If you get on soon, try me! I wish I could make it all better for you. I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better! There is no magic pill, although I wish there was.

Just start off with baby steps and soon you will be making huge accomplishments like petersen and I have done. The two of us were so down in the dumps, she couldn't even leave her house and I couldn't go anywhere by myself, but we were each others cheerleaders and made things happen for each other!

Mraoun, please realize these thoughts you are having are not real. It's the depression and anxiety taking over right now. I too lost a lot of weight. I was down to 102 lb and was nothing but skin & bones. The less you eat, the less nutrition you get in your body. The less nutrition you get the more out of whack your thoughts get. I had to start charting what I ate and when I ate. I realized I was only eating 600 calories/day. This was a shock to me. I had to gradually increase my calorie intake each day. Baby steps! I eat every 2 hours whether I'm hungry or not. My dr. told me to drink "Ensure" for the calories and it's suppliments & to take a children's vitamin every day. This was the start of my healing. It was slow but sure. I finally got to the point where my mind could think clear again and I agreed to go on meds. I too was so afraid of taking meds, but they really do help. I have to try 3 before I found the right one. I take Celexa and xanex as needed. Nutrition plays such an important part in our mental state. I am now a nutrition nut, but it's paying off for me. I wish I was there to hug you and help you through this in person. God created you for a special purpose and he has a special plan just for you. I look at my anxiety as part of his plan to prepare me for something bigger and better in life. When my load is too heavy, or my days too dark, I just pray to God to carry the load, as I can't do it. God has never disappointed me, and he won't let you down either. Talk to him, embrace him, and feel his love for you. My prayers and thoughts are with you my dear friend.

I have suffered with some pretty severe anxiety attacks and although they can make you lose your head for a bit, you can overcome them Take the ativan, it should help. If not, you should ask your Dr. for some Vistaril in case of a severe attack that you cannot get a hold on. You are in charge of this disorder whether you know it or not. I ended up in the hospital many many times with anxiety attacks because I thought I was going to die, and eventually when I lost the only person I knew that could bring be out of the attacks, I had to fend for myself. It's not an easy road, but I'm sure you have the strength to overcome. Also, for the weight loss, drink plenty of milkshakes and eat cereal before bed. I gained 15 pounds doing that!

Mraoun - please don't try to harm yourself !! Talk to someone about your feelings - someone that is close to you and will listen. Petersen is right - these thoughts are not real !! You don't want to do that to yourself. Many ,many people care about you !!! These thoughts will pass - just hold on tightly to yourself and know that I am praying for you. God wants you to be here and nowhere else, even if you are feeling bad. Please at least try the medication before you do something you will regret honey.
