Your guide on the path to loving yourself. This group created to practice building self-esteem and reduce self-doubt, full of thought-provoking ideas and exercises. Start where you are, banish self-doubt, build self-esteem, and love yourself more.

Please keep in mind that all the prompts and inspirational quotes are directly from The Self-Love Journal book so down below I dont own any writes to the book. This is just an oppurtunity for me as well as others to help find self-love and feel acomplished while doing and feel expressed. Also take into acount that any and all negative thoughts are not welcomed to this group nor will be tolerated. So please if you dont have anything nice to say please don't say at all or don't join this group. We are all about supporting one another. To conclude my introduction about the group or how the group works here is the introduction to the book.
Imagine this experience:
You're in your favorite place in the world with your closest loved ones engaging in activities that fill your heart with love and a deep sense of fulfilling your Soul's purpose. You get lost in the moment because everything is in flow. You laugh until your sides hurt and you have a natural deep connection to yourself and to your family and friends who are surrounding you. Savor the experience.
Now let that image go and come back to the circumstances that led you to this group. Think about the thoughts, feelings and actions that are part of your daily life right now. Notice how you feel about yourself.
Are these two experiences similar to each other? Are they vastly different? There is no wrong answer here. If you choose to go on this journey with me we're going to keep it real. I want you to fully be present in what's going on in your life right now, and I want you to dream about how you want to feel in the future.
Is it possible that the first experience you imagined could come in reality? I'm not implying that life has to be perfect. That's not keeping it real. And yet I'm still going to ask you to open your mind to the possibility of living in a state of love joy and purpose most of the time.
How is this possible? Research tells us that our happiness depends on combination of factors: genetics internal state of mind and life circumstances. Most of us like we believe that life circumstances are the biggest factor in whether or not we are happy. There is some debate about the exact proportion but research suggests that life circumstances account for only about 10% of our happiness. Another 50% is influenced by genetics, and 40% depends on our internal State of Mind. How you think about yourself, still about yourself, and treat yourself are more powerful factors than your actual life circumstances.
If this is true, then your state of mind is the only part of the happiness equation that you can change. How would you describe your state of mind and your relationship to yourself? And how do you actually change your state of mind?
This journal group will hopefully walk you through a process to know like trust and love yourself. You'll explore challenges that might keep you stuck in self-doubt and self-criticism. Sometimes it's easy to avoid feelings and thoughts that are uncomfortable. I will invite you to become friends with those parts of yourself that you may not like very much. It's a process feels overwhelming or if you experience on going or deliberating sadness anxiety or other mental health challenges please seek help with a medical professional. This journal group is not meant to substitute for a therapist medication or medical treatment. knowing yourself and seeking help when you need it is a sign of strength and courage.
Included in this journal group are a series of Journal prompts, inspirational quotes and exercises that will give you the opportunity to shift your State of Mind toward self-love. They are designed to guide you on a journey from where you are now, to acknowledge and release your self-doubt, to build your self-esteem, and to experience love and allow it to radiate from the inside out.
