My little dogs, definately. When I walk through they door, they start following me around constantly and when I talk to them, they tilt their heads like they are trying to learn my language.
My sons make me so proud. They are good sensible guys and they like being with me and talk a lot, that makes me smile.
My garden. The area I live in is pretty average, but the little garden oasis I created is very pretty and when I walk into my little fenced backyard, I just want to grab a cup of mint tea and sit next to the small cool pond and watch the butterflies and hope for a hummingbird to come by. Everyday is different.
My animals as well... I love my little dogs and my kitty. The two dogs that are closest to me are litteraly close to me every moment of every day. They practically try and adhere themselves to me but, I would not change it in any way.
The other thing that always makes me smile is being in the water. I love a nice cool lake and being able to just feel the water envelope me, lifting the strain off my body and joints. I feel free in the water and I always have. I don't get to it as much anymore but, it still is my favorite place to be.
My cats make me smile many times during the day. I love to hear their happy squeaks and meows. I love when my Max, the oldest, head bumps me so that I will pet him. My baby, Mollie, follows me into the bathroom every time I go in there. She makes her happy noise and hangs out with me until I am done in there.
It made me smile, yesterday, when so many members reached out to me while I was hurting so badly. I felt the warm fuzzies all over. I want to thank all of you for your love and support.

Looking out on a beautiful day makes me smile.
Hearing my grandson playing is his yard and then seeing him makes smile so big and I am lucky to have that everyday, but daughter comes along with that pleasure, JK.
My husband telling about something that he finds important and I just nod and smile. Seeing his get so excited about something I find no so, gives me that smile.
Seeing the young love in my son's eyes when he is with his girl friend, I remember!
I think if we really think we have alot to smile about, even as we are fighting our demons.
SMILE
Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream
Morning Coffee on the Deck with husband
Mother Nature in her glory: sunsets, thunderstorms, flowers, butterflies, birds (we have so many different kinds)
A new bar of soap
Clean sheets
I could go on and on. Yes I smile a lot.
It goes without saying my family lights my eyes and gives me the widest smile of all. Grandchildren are the best medicine in the world. Of course my two 1year old lab/boxer pups are awesome when they are playing with one another and funny as well.
