Busy morning for me. Jack, my collie has been in the doggie hospital and I had to get him a bed ready to come home to this morning. He apparently got a bacterial infection from eating bad meat; aka...dead animal most likely. Stupid dog! Why do dogs do that?! Her certainly wasn't hungry. Anyway he is home now with antibiotics.
Then my son calls from school sick so I went and picked him up and took him to the Dr. They tested him for strep and the flu, he tested negative for both but the dr. Thinks he has both and it is too ur ly to show up on the tests. He has fever, body aches and a very very red and sore throat. The Dr. Sent him home on antibiotics and a note to stay home for two days.
Flu is really bad here. The Dr. Office as well as the pharmacy was extremely busy!
Very behind on all my morning chores now but wanted to get this thread started.

i never got to the agenda, but there was no need.
Just got done taking care of Grandson (3) who is sick with Bronchitis and Now i need a nap.
Feeling a bit sick too. With me it comes and goes, I wish it would just happen and get over.
Sorry about your Dog Dixe, they do that and it makes me so mad and sad!
Off to get some soup and rest.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog and your son! I hope that both will be on the mend very soon. I am being told by my kids that everyone is sick at their school. They haven't been sick yet, however, with a couple of events coming up on Sunday, then Tuesday, not to mention that Christmas is around the corner, I pray that they will be spared. (not likely though)
janiecf: so sorry to hear about your grandson. How awful at any age, however, he is so young, poor guy!
