it's right over us as i write. several waves have come through, but no sightings...heavy rain and wind. it hovers over this area. hope it stays minor.
i'm relieved to have no migraine, just body aches. usual. so have the list of things to do around here.10x more than i can do!
gave penny a new toy last night, so she's been having fun with that, but i think she's hiding.

I was up most of the night, listening to avalanches slide off my metal roof. What a thunderous noise that is. It slides from the top and makes a stop on the roofs of my porches (I have 3) then eventually makes the final roar to the ground. I was trying not to picture my tenant peeing himself in fear...his couch smells bad enough!
This is moving day for my Son so my Mom, Sister and I have rallied to keep the crew fed today. This morning I boiled a load of eggs and made egg salad, made 2 loaves of bread in my machine and just put the glaze on a Lemon Loaf.
I have totally wrecked my already painful right side. I have an hour to get my act together for a client.
The roads were so horrible from freezing rain in the night that all schools are closed. My driveway isn't very safe and I warned my client. I called her this morning because she was scheduled for 9:00 and I didn't want her driving until the roads were better.
Tonight we're expecting heavy rain and high winds! Considering where my Son has moved, it wouldn't surprise me if they lose power. They might as well get broken in right away!
Time to stop typing and rest my miserable arm. Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Gosh, Dixie, you sure are kind to remember everyone's life happenings
I woke to a 9, stuffed down the full gamet of pills and coffee and opened the door to 4 cheery installers of different nationalities who went at it right away. I thought I had a problem with the floor but they assured me it would be all right. Lots of noise and cooperative talking down there. The counter installer called to say they will measure tomorrow but I won't have counters and sink until the 9th of Feb. That is a long time to use my TINY bathroom sink for washing dishes. It's funny. Maybe I'll shower with my dishes.

enigma, how exciting, but that is a long wait...can you push a little?
some tornadoes have hit this area, but none in chatt.my bones are starting to ache, so i'm taking a break between every little task. the temp dropped so fast as the storm came. just making my way through the day. hope you are, too!
I am home and back at work.
Have to do quarter ends and get out the 1099's and w2's. Carpet cleaner coming at noon. Daughter has a neurotic dog and it shows on my carpet, yuck!
then there is the unpacking and laundry to do. Then we are down to 3 months before move! Please give me energy and patience!
finally melting snow here. I know those sounds of chunks of snow sliding of the roof, makes me jump.

The temp drop came quickly and before I went to bed. Still have high winds and no sun today.
Not much going on here. The day is flying by and I have done nothing. Husband made some cornbread. The good kind with buttermilk and in the cast iron skillet. Yummy.
Heather I will have to get up to speed on your surgery. I am just getting on DS for the first time today.
