Morning Hens,
I've been on the run all morning. Got bombarded with kids last night so I had to go grocery shopping really early this morning while everyone was still sleeping.
Then my water filter burst in my refrigerator so that was a big mess to clean up.
Then breakfast for everyone. I'm exhausted. It's 11:00 and I'm just now having my first cup of coffee.
I'm not a happy person today... Very grumpy and pretending not to be around the kids.... Ever had one of those days that your unexplainable grumpy? Frustrating! And I don't feel like taking care of so many kids.... But I will because I would rather my kids be home where they are safe and I know what their doing! *sigh
Sorry for such a grumpy post. Hoping you all have a better day than I'm having.

I had a client cancel so I went shopping with my Parents. Mom wasn't ready to quit, but my leg hurt so bad that it was a short trip. It was actually about as long as I'd intended, but apparently Mom was so excited to have me out with them that she was ready to keep going.
I wrapped a few packages and then fell asleep for a little while...that's it so far. I don't feel a burst of productivity coming on, either.

Late start here.
Went out this morning on a hunt for a decorative sleigh for grandson (3). I could not find one any where!
He had the best time Sunday night at great aunts playing with hers. Great imagination that i like to encourage. Well I'll keep looking.
Tonight Son in laws birthday, I'll cook. Having his Mom and one brother come join us.
Hope you get less grumpy Dix! I think we all have them and just have to go with it! Stay away from me though!
I have wrapping also cherry! I say that everyday and never get to it! You'd think as the high today will only be 30, I light a fire and wrap away!

i'm calling it a do over day. i guess i will list the reasonssss in my journal to get them out of me. they aren't going to change, so serenity prayer has to take effect. nothing here. just life and my freaking body.
it's gorgeous here today - like a spring day - and i feel guilty for not enjoying it more. i should be dancing in a meadow or something. ha ha ha.
dixie, hope the kids bring you some joy in the midst of all that. and cherry, glad you got to get out with your parents for as long as you could. glad your client cancelled.
