I could skip over the birth part and just watch the romping. When I was way too young to understand, I saw a horse give birth at our friend's. The poor thing had a terrible time and instead of calling a Vet, the owner pulled it out while the poor Mother suffered terribly. I guess I was a bit traumatized because I can remember it like it was yesterday.

Enough about my childhood experiences. I had a half an apple and a little juice. My stomach isn't acting right so I don't dare try to put much in it.

I tried putting my laptop on my legs while I sat on a couch. Now I know that it's too heavy for that plan. Within a couple minutes it had made those damned nerves in the back of my left leg start to scream. So it's been a terribly painful day, anyway...that just added to it. Grrrrrrr

Since I've been up since 2:15 this morning, I don't know how late I'll make it tonight. So...if anyone wants to communicate with me, they better not goof around for long!

Hi Dixie & Cherry,

As far as dinner goes, I am having leftover Persian food - some kind of chicken, rice, lentil, dates dish. I cannot rmember the name. It was takeout. Tasty, but I don't have much of an appetite today. I would have preferred pork chops - especially if they came with mashed potatoes and gravy. That was my favorite dish as a kid. My absolute favorite.

It rained really hard last night and this morning, throwing my kitty into a tailspin. When she doesn't sleep, we don't sleep. She hears the rain and comes running for cover, trying to get under the covers. Then she comes out, and it rains again, and under she dives again. I am exhausted.

My husband left for a two day trip this morning, so that leaves me "home alone". I hate having him gone.

Cherry, I experience much more nerve pain when any electrical devixe is against my body. That includes the computer, cell phone, electric toothbrush, etc.

ALERT Katie Couric is having a special today on "Medical Mistakes". We could all write a book on this topic, couldn't we? Anybody watch Katie's talk show? I really like it.

Well, gotta go watch this special. Have a nice evening and peaceful nights sleep.

Dinner is pad thai home made with shrimp and tofu. First i have to watch grand kids for about "30 minutes". Almost made a day with out that,lol.
My husband was pre vet, so i watched him alot in the field. Saw a horse give birth, an experience. But yes Cherry is is hard to watch the difficult births. Boy do i have a story with my husbands arm all the was up the poor mare adjusting the baby!
Oh know Cindy too late for Katie, if is was today. We get her at 3pm.
just healing and dripping from this sinus infection so an easy night, then bed

dixe that must of been a real treat to watch a cow give burth.............i will go look for your picks and i had rice and carrots for supper......................cherry...............it is said to see them suffer when the berthing doesent go well....................i dont know how you do it getting up at those hours ...............you ned to get one of those deskes for using with the couch ware the leags fit under the couch aand then come up the side at the frount and you can pull it right in to you................cinda.............unfortinatualy we dont get that showe here ....................our puppy is like that if there is a rain storm we dont get eney sleep eather he is hiperventlating and barking and he wantes us all together ..................so we put him on out bed and i hold him on the leash and pet him till he colms dowen ..................but he wont sleep till the storm passes.............i get left home alone when my husband goes traping with his buddies so if i get feeling more depresed i just go visit one of our kids and sleep over .....................i had a cat once when i was about 11 ans she was giving birth and she wanted me with her and she wouldent settle dowen if i wasent there so i sat beside her while she was giving birth and than i noticed that she wasent cutting the cords so i got my mom to steralixe some sisers and i cut the cords and cleaned off the babys and put them to her breasts and i was there for hours and i had to go to the bathrom so my sister was there to look after while i was gone and my cat got up while she was giving birth and folowed me so i ahd to go right back and sit with her ....................i was the only one who could touch the kitens ................i would make sure that they all got enough milk .....................i caled her preshes ...............and that was way beforthat movie ever came out ..................i called her that because thats what she was to me preshes..................take care .................god bless
