good morning dixie,

i don't watch dd, but my new favorite reality show is mountain men, plus cooking shows. i love the spirit of those guys and their families. i haven't even heard of the chase. i'll look for it although i watch too much tv or just have it as a distraction background.

we had another big storm for hours yesterday. every day has a good chance of thunderstorms at some point. i'm going to spend the weekend with my mother whose birthday is friday and father's day is sunday, so we'll bring him over from nursing home and cook for him. just preparing for that and trying to get this place in order the next few days.

Right now I like DropDeadDiva. And Devious Maids. Fun shows.
I'm waiting for the return of Revenge this fall.

Nice quite day for me today. Got my new dresser yesterday, so closet cleaning. It's great, because now when I reach up for a piece of clothing all clothes won't fall on me.

We are just having hot (95) days.

Obviously we have different programs here, I know you can watch some of our shows like Call the midwife and we have 5 USA and 5 STAR which have American shows like CSI and The mentalist, love those.
I like cooking programs too, we have one called Come dine with me which i like the best, i hate quiz shows! I like property programs, love American houses : )
I'm waiting for the walking dead to return , i love Zombies!

Sunny day here, been to work and worked hard, just need to rest now for work tomorrow!

I haven't watched DD. I am not much for game shows. I watch a lot of the British shows on PBS. Doc Martin, DCI. Banks, Scott and Bailey. Of course Midwives, the Blethlley Circle. So many good ones. Free TV. Public broadcasting. I also like BBC for Orphan Black. So hooked on it. About clones but not too sci fi. First season almost over.

Serenity hope a pumpkin carriage arrives at your door to carry you off to moms. Just don't like for you to have to load it all into bus. You are such a jewel. Your mom will love the orchid. A great gift. Crazy weather. I can't remember how many days we have rain off and on and severe thunderstorm warnings or tornado warnings thrown in. A true spring. We are fast approaching the first day of summer. Be safe my friend. Wishing you low humidity.

Kim hubby did find a dry day to mow but it already needs it again. Hope you can find something to watch. It is pretty scarce right now. Time to find some good books.

Janie have fun with your new dresser. Love organizing. I get lost in it and so relaxing. Yes way better than being bombarded by a stack of tee shirts or worse yet jeans. Stay cool. High temps your way. Sounds like cold salad days.

Quiet here, little guy at park with grampa and Kylie is still with mom. I am on ice with pillows under knees. I pulled something in lower back that sent the numb tingling pain down my right leg. Usually ice dose the trick.
Grilling steaks tonight so both children and dad will eat here tonight.

Empathy hope you get rested up for tomorrow. Another big day. I am picturing with you feet up about right now. Hope so!!!
