Morning Hens,
Been interesting start to my day...I get a phone call from MIL saying someone named Martha has calves standing by her car in her yard. Yes they were mine, so we get dressed and go chase calves back to their pen. I'm glad they are so tame. It makes it a little easier.
Taking mom to physical therapy today. The rest of the day will be spent listening to her cry in pain...betting on it. She has a very low tolerance for pain. She can't stand to move her arm the tiniest bit and they think they r going to do physical therapy on it?! Yea right!

boy, sorry it's so difficult for both you and your mother to go through that. i hope things go as well as possible.
i'm just hoping the maintenance man will get up here today to work on the AC going to my bedroom and a few other things. i've slept on the sofa two nights for the cool air, but that isn't working even though it's a comfy sofa. otherwise, just the usual piddling around here and playing with food.

How funny about your calves Kim. Glad they are safe. We see cattle on the wrong side of the fence a lot around here. Dangle rest at night as the like to lay on the warm pavement. We woke once in collage ( lived in a ranch helper house) and our driveway was ful of sheep. Took a while to round them up.
Yea my mom, sure complains after PT. No pain no gain, doesn't register eith her!
Hope you maintance man shows up, seren. So far her our night are cool, but soon I'll get the fan out as no ac here. Not sure we will have it the addition.
Golfed yesterday, go a grocery shopping today. The we have yo go to friend for dinner. Have to discuses plans for a bingo tournament. Our town is celebrating its 150th. How fun!

Kim what a way for MIL to let you know about those babies. Guess they thought the grass was greener on other side of fence. Have you tied that man down long enough for him to go get his chemo treatment? Don't forget to take care of most VIP...you.
Serenity hope they fix that A/C soon. Sofa comfortable or not is no place like bed. Makes my back and neck hurt thinking of it. I laughed at thought of you playing with food as I thought of it literally. Made me think of the little boy in Christmas Story and his mom getting him to eat his food. I know what you meant though and I love your creations and how you eat healthy. We are getting the micro kale and I am trying to think of a combo for a smoothie with it. Am thinking maybe grapes and some natural juice. Maybe apple or carrot. I have a juicer.
Janie my cousin lived in west Sac and she didn't have A/C due to the winds that blew in every night. It cooled down and then windows closed during day. Can't remember name of winds. I know you live in higher elevation. You manage the social scene with grace even though it isn't your choice always. I admire you for that. I know your husband is the guy who wants to do it all. Wow on 150 years. Laughing at you gals moving sheep while in college.
Me I am off to the vampires to give blood. I dance in (not) at last minute. I don't eat breakfast so a fasting lab doesn't bother me to go later. It is better later because lab techs are setting around waiting for next victim.
