Cherry sorry your having a hard time with your wood. Can you get another cord of dry and mix the two? That's what we use to do ...use the dryer to get it going and the green to keep it going. And then my dad would alway cut some big round ones that we would put in at night that would last all night long and we usually didn't't have to restart a fire the next morning...we still had coals:) but those would be entirely too heavy for you to handle...I'm just reminiscing.
Cindi sorry your RSD is flaring up on you....ouch. Those are the kind of days to teach the granddaughters to play cards lol hope your feeling better today.

Serenity good luck with the bridal luncheon. I was trying to come up with a gift idea for you and the only thing I could come up with was a set of towels. Embroidered would be nice if possible...but it's hard to find someone who does that and especially short notice. They really do have everything don't they. Hmmmmm.
Carly I had to laugh when you said your granddaughter was 6 going on 16. This little girl of mine is 2 going on I don't know what but she is very independent that's for sure. These grand babies are something aren't they?!:)
Home health comes out today for a visit. I dread it. I have changed my dh's os time bag 3 times by myself now and once with no one around. I'm ready to be left alone. And there is another visit after this one.
Dh canceled his dr. Apt. Yesterday. Made me so mad. Said he didn't feel like going.

well, we actually are getting snow today and the city is shut down and the shower is cancelled - so much for fretting. i shopped in my own apt and found some pretty silk, 40's pjs that took an hour to iron. she'll get them anyway. she loves silky things. the wedding gift is on order and won't get here in time, but i had to wait til the first of the month to order...
cherry, dixie's ideas sound good. hope you're staying warm enough!

Kim I sure give you so much credit for putting up with all of your DHs issues with all of this but I do agree that he has to start changing the way that he is acting!
Its hard enough dealing with your own chronic pain! Best wishes to you and your family.

My RSD foot is better today and hopefully I can get some things done around the house.
I have to tell you a secret that my hubby has no idea is planned. I made reservations at a supper club for Valentines night for dinner and staying at the hotel attached to it. He felt that something is going on though when I asked him if he had any plans for the weekend.
He did comment that we are taking the girls to Disney On Ice Sat later in the afternoon but I just said that the show is part of the plan and I was just wondering what we were going to do!!
Today I was supposed to take my father in law to a dentist appointment and lunch but he called and said that the roads are too bad to drive out to my home.
With the crazy weather issues that we have all have been having and our daily pain I sure wish you all a good day!!

The weather sure has been terrible down were you live.
My son in Charlotte has been telling me about there terrible weather there also. He says that it is hard because he is so used to driving through a Wisconsin winter but the rest in the city just have a tough time getting through it!
