oh dixie, how could your son do that?! can you pay your bill online? sorry your drive was so drenched yesterday, but glad dh is feeling better and on the mend.

the floor guys are done with the closet and the place smells to high heaven with the fumes of the adhesive. i'm drained in every possible way. our weather isn't too bad, so there's a possibility i can get out to finish errands. i had more than i could carry yesterday. may just curl into a ball though.

Lost big oak tree due to three days of ice. :(

Water and ice maker finally repaired on fridge. Waiting on 20MPH winds and hoping we don't loose anymore trees or loose power. It is cold and we need heat and water.

Snow, snow and more snow! It started during the night and isn't showing any sign of stopping.

My best friend's Mom died during the night. She's been hanging on for so long. I wish we didn't live so far apart at times like this. The funeral will be up here, though. Probably not until April.

Kim, That is kind of how it was when we got home from our trip. The furnace had went out and it was quite cold in our home too!

Serenity, I hope that the fumes are going away… I hate that smell also!

Linda, Wow you are sure getting the ice!! I sure hope that you don't lose anymore trees or the power. We have times like that up here too in the winter.. We installed a generator this past fall to run most of the house because that happened to Curt in this house many years ago and they were out of power a couple of days!!

Cherry, sorry that I missed you today.
I am so sorry for the loss of your friends mom.. may she now be at peace!
It looks like you sure are getting hit with this big storm also… it just went south of us so luckily we got a break this time!
