Morning hens,
Well the drug co. Finally called yesterday about 3:00. We should recieve his meds Fri. They are a week late so I wonder if he will have to stay on them a week longer than radiation. Wish we could talk to the dr. Still don't have the CT scan results but the nurse said yesterday that if there was anything to worry about they would have done called us in to talk to us about it.
Got my flowers made yesterday! I'll try to post a pic of them. Don't know what I will do today.

Kim I sure hope that all goes ok with dh meds and that you get good results from the CT scan!
Yesterday I had the X-rays of my ankles and they did show arthritis mostly in right one.
My surgeon did also take pictures of the left foot that I had the last fusion done in July... He said that I should have the plate removed as it is causing nerve compression.
So here I go again, another surgery.
When does it ever end!!!
I also hope that Cherry takes it easy with all of the healing she has to do yet!
So what are the rest of you hens up to today??

Kim...I can't believe you haven't received the scan report, but I agree that it must be a good sign! I think of you every day. Stay strong, sweetie.
Cindi...can't they do foot transplants? I think you'd be a perfect candidate... Except that would be even more surgery.
I had a short visit from Steve (steva from DS) as he was on a trip to check out a truck he bought on EBay. He called yesterday to say he wanted to see me on his way through. It was 32 degrees this morning and that damned fool rode his motorcycle so he could load it in the truck for the drive back. I made Beef Stew so he'd have something to warm him up. Mom and Dad came down to peel carrots and potatoes so I wouldn't wreck myself!
I'm doing one haircut tomorrow... Just one! I need to get some money coming in!

Good news....the cancer has not spread. The dr. Was aggravated to find out they had started radiation without the chemo pills so he had dh come up and get some for tomorrow and fri. We are suppose to get ours sometime fri. But not sure when. He didn't want dh to go another day without starting them.
I took off to Jackson today with mom just to get away. Nice little outing, but sure am tired and hurting now though.

Cherry beef stew sounds good. Steve stopping by good stuff. Hope he makes it back on his way home. Friends are the greatest especially DS friends.
Cindi my sis just had plate and screws removed from one foot and surgery on the other. She got a really cool scooter to put her knee on for the surgical side. She blinged her boot on the side where they removed plate.
Hope the surgery will take care of the nerve pain.
Not much here. Beautiful fall weather. Week 5 with the cast. I want my hand back.
dixie, i'm glad the cancer hasn't spread. getting meds by mail can be a real hassle. it's good the dr could give you the chemo meds.
cherry, i bet it was nice to see steve in both directions. oh to come home home from a ride like that to some beef stew.
cindi, sorry to hear another surgery is a possibility, but if it will get the pressure off the nerves, i hope it will give you relief.
today started out pretty well, but became a big washout. my paternal aunt's cancer has spread to her brain. they admitted her immediately after the MRI for 5 days of radiation. my cousin is having heart surgery tomorrow morning (arthroscopic, at least). i thought my biggest bother was waiting for a flea med via UPS - little did i know. the flea meds didn't come, of course. i'm trying not be blown by every wind. my sister got engaged over the weekend, so i was hoping our family could be joyous for a few months. the tide can shift quickly, so i guess.
