Good morning hens...
I was too exhausted to even check in last night. I had to spend too much time on the road, going from one appt. to the next...then two trips to the Pharmacy. I slept during the evening, got up for a few minutes and then slept all night.
My doc was snippy with me yesterday and didn't seem to want to spend more than a minute with me. The only change is the addition of a second 5mg. valium a day. She's still mad that I didn't give Methadone more of a chance. Maybe if all this was happening to her body, she'd change her tune!
I have to get through a color this morning, then PT before coming back to do another cut/style. Groan.....I'll manage.

I just plan on working on cutting out more squares for my quilt.
Suppose to rain today so glad I don't have to get out.

off to the dr tomorrow, for shoulder. Not getting better and i'm afraid of what he'll say! I really mess it up just when i was on my way to recovery!
Waiting for an other storm. Last on we got 4.4 inches of rain in two days. Not alot compared to CA, but good for us.
Yes, find a new Dr Cherry. I know it is hard to change, but this one sounds like a dozy!
Sleep well Musk, that sounds like heaven for me. Not being up all night tho!

Dixie are you making a pattern quilt or a crazy quilt. I have both handed down from grandma. I love the crazy quilt because each fabric piece reminds me of an event. I always feel I am wrapped in love when I use it.
We are getting rain today as well.
Musk good that your dear husband let you sleep. The sleepless nights are not a friend of mine. The less sleep I get the harder it is for me to sleep.
Janie I have seen some pictures from my nieces on Facebook of the flooding. They live around Auburn California. It is bad. I hope this doesn't happen in your area. I would think it is cold enough there that it would turn to snow or ice.
My labs for the check on my cholesterol were good. She is not going to increase my statin. I believe she listens to me. She told me she realized it can cause muscle pain and could live with my numbers. Good because I can live with the lower dose.
Today is my therapist appointment. After that I need to start packing.
We leave on Friday. Driving to Memphis to spend the night before getting on Amtrack to New Orleans. Arrive New Orleans on Saturday afternoon. Sunday we sail out of New Orleans to Belize , Costa Maya, Honduras, and Cozumel. That means starting Monday of next week I will be off the grid. Sure will miss what the hens are up to but I will catch up on it all the following Sunday.

i agree, cherry, your dr sounds like she needs a new profession and you need someone who actually believes in the hippocratic oath - do no harm!

a nice woman (a friend's mother i know from way back) agreed to take me on some errands today. she got all the way here, but forgot my phone and apt #s. the mgr wouldn't even call me out of common courtesy. it's not a psych ward. she had to drive home and call me. a neighbor did help me carry up groceries. i just found my debit card that got swept between papers. whew. still anxious after looking for hours. spent the rest of the day making phone calls for a new medicare HMO and other little stuff.
praying for a good night's sleep for us all.
