Good morning/afternoon...
It's still raining here. May and June were our two wettest ,consecutive months on record and there's no end in sight. It woke me up at 3:00 this morning because I had my window open and it was so loud pounding on the metal roof.
I have my appt. with my miserable doctor tomorrow. I dread seeing her and just hope she'll let me have another script for the little bit of pain medication she allowed last month. If she sees that I'm doing my part to get better...quitting the smokes and seeing the shoulder surgeon again...she ought to be reasonable. Of course, she'd have to be a reasonable person to begin with and that's questionable.
I really want to get to the nursing home to say goodbye to my 94 year old Aunt who is just hanging on. I haven't been able to go anywhere so this will be a big one...
My oldest Son is 35 today.....groan. He likes to tell people I was 12 when I had him because they always say I don't look old enough to be his Mother. I think I'd rather just look young for my age than have him telling that story!

today i have to get out in thunderstorms, but it's for meds i'm completely out of as of this am. they're hovering over us, too. 4 big storms yesterday. it's good for my plants anyway. i'll see how energy i have left after that. i have beans soaking to cook today. can't tell how long my body will cooperate any given day.

Hope the rain holds off long enough for you to get your meds serenity.....this rainy weather sure doesn't help with the pain does it?
Cali may get her name changed to 'LittleBit' lol, that's what I keep calling her:) she is so tiny and yet acts so big with the other cats....so funny!
My son is looking for a job....long story but he lost his other one because he had to do a court ordered program. Yes we could have proved it but it was too late....his boss replaced him before we had a chance...and no it's not worth fighting for. So he is job hunting again. Please pray he finds something soon! He really needs out of the house and doing something to keep him out from in front of the TV all the time!
No plans here today...nota nothing! Boring:) I'm so thankful lol.

Hope you son finds work, Dix. Some cats come with big attitudes,haha! Mine did.
My puppy turned 1 year yesterday and got a 175.00 vet bill as- present and a rubber bone!
She got out and went to our sloppy neighbors yard. Long grass, weeds and garbage from un finished meals, yuck.
She had fox tails all over her and as I was checking her ears I found a tick! I was able to pinch it out and held on to it till hubby came home and confirmed it.
The vet bill was for a fox tail on her ear drum. They had to put her under to get it out. Not that it would make her deaf haha. Poor baby
Well off to bbsit. Only 104 here today, makes me so tired. A thunderstorm would feel good Seren. I'd run out and dance in the rain!
