Morning Hens,
I will be going to see my aunt in Jackson today. She is living proof of what pain can drive you to. She too what was left of her pain meds yesterday...all of them...trying to get pain relief. Thank goodness there were only 5 left...we think....of morphin. They think it was a total of 90 mg , slow release. My uncle found her in bed in responsive. He called 911 and got her to the hospital.
She needs surgery. I think though that they are going to do a spinal block on her today.
So sad isn't it.
My dental apt. Was canceled yesterday because he was sick. I was glad, I was in too much pain.
Serenity I don't know about you but I've had enough of this rain already!

I am so sorry for what your Aunt is going through. I know how tough it can get sometimes and just feel hopeless!
It is probably a good thing that the dentist appointment had to be rescheduled.
We all sure need blessing and wishing them for everyone!
I myself have finally ending up the bout with bronchitis.
I went yesterday for my lower spine recheck after 4 injections and now he wants to do a medial branch nerve block but I told him that I really need to think about this because the last ones where just about as bad as childbirth from what I remember from 30 some years ago!
I am seeing a hand surgeon tomorrow to get ready for left hand surgery to do a nerve release and joint repair.
I am going to visit my daughter and girls this afternoon which I am SO looking forward to!!

cindi, thank goodness you're seeing the end of that bronchitis. wow, that is something to think about before doing. you never know how a nerve block will go. i hope you have a great visit with your girls today!
already two long phone calls this morning. my mother's phone died this weekend and she's so frustrated bc she does so much work on the phone. she just dropped some big bucks with the plumber yesterday. he came for one thing and kept finding problems including the water heating going. we were just in the basement two weeks ago, so since then it sprung a leak. it's on the market, so everything has to be up to par.
i have to get ready for a regular dr appt. just hope nothing new comes up. it may rain again this afternoon, so i have to dress accordingly. then do some shopping on the way home, so i'll be pooped, so i hope i can manage an easy dinner.

Kim I am glad the dental appointment was canceled. Thought of you yesterday and knew you were already uncomfortable. Lucky your uncle found your aunt when he did. Hopefully the spinal block will help. I will add my voice to being tired of the rain. I believe it is in our forecast through Friday.
Cindi thank goodness the bronchitis is gone. I sure don't blame you on weighing benefits on the medial branch nerve block. Especially since you remember how painful it was. I have to say the RFA on my neck was very painful. The procedure not the after part. Just while they were doing it. Enjoy those grand girls and your daughter. I know you will.
Serenity sounds like mom is really going through some challenges. I hope the house sells quick for her. It is time for a change. Well wishes for your journey to the doctor and errands. It would be nice, and knowing you, to take some soup out of the freezer for a meal. You are like Girl Scout. Always prepared.
We are eating beans and rice and sauteed kale. Rainy weather food. No cornbread today. If I had turnip greens we would have cornbread. I finally went to Urgent Care for my sinus infection. Already feeling a little better.
Hope it clears. I let it go way too long but was convinced I could treat it with natural remedies. Sometime it just doesn't work. So antibiotics with a probiotic chaser. Also got a steroid shot. That I like because I can't take anti-inflammatory and the steroid kind of helps with all inflammation..
