Today I see the orthopaedic surgeon about my crazy arm. I woke to numbness in half the hand (one side). It's starting to go away. I actually kinda hope that the surgery is sonner rather than later. I really don't know hwat to expect.

I'm going to work quietly and I'm not telling anyone I'm taking tomorrow off so they don't blast me with work like they did last friday and I wound up just working at home till midnight. so shhhhhhhhhh.

heather, i'm hoping that the surgeon wants to go ahead and get this taken care of. you're in my prayers.

it's raining pretty steadily here - no complaints!! it's cool. i really want to color my hair and and do a few things in the apt. i'm hoping my sister has errands to do, so she can take me to get meds. dangerously low and really don't want to take the bus!

My agenda has started. I have taken down and folded and put away my laundry from yesterday.

Clean sheets on bed and old ones in wash.

Everything organized in my little bathroom. Have to do that from time to time because I collect little bits. You know......when you have a few dabs and you just need to pitch it.

All boring I am sure but that is the way my days go. I do a little and then I rest. It does seem like it is a weekly rotation. Nothing ever real earth shattering.

Once in awhile a little creative project. I love fashion. I have a room that has been made into a closet. I have a dress form, i think you would call it and it is like playing dress up to put something new on it. I like to buy vintage at estate sales and refashion the clothing a bit. I do the same with jewelry. I guess you could say I recycle. This is what I do when I feel good. It is happening less and less but I look forward to it happening more.

I am here waiting on my ride for the weekend. My girlfriends are running late as one had to work later than expected. But it gave me a chance to check in here as I've been awol for awhile.

My agenda was to leave early for our Girl's weekend and have no rain!! But there are still flood warnings near the bayou's and near our destination. I sooooo hope the rain stops......what are the odds of picking the perfect weekend weather?

Dixie, that is soo true. When you don't plan and worry about getting things done they always seem to happen easier. But hey, what do I know.......I worry about everything. :-)

Serenity, I hope your sister came through and you didn't have to take the bus. Glad you are enjoying the cool weather.

Janie, have a great ranch weekend. It's been too long for me, but I do understand out in the middle of nowhere. Dh is bringing back all the horses. Hard to believe with all this rain but we are still very low on grass and one horse is pregnant (we hope).

Heather, wishing you are the best for your arm and hope your surgery goes well....and sooner than later.
