The storms have caused a mess in Florida. I have to go and check all of the projects that I manage for damage. The trench that my husband dug last night kept the water our of our house. It was at the door, gotta love it.

Last friday I was compared to a coworker who helps no one and "look, they get all their work done", so this week I'm going to keep my door closed and we will see how my boss likes the new me and how well the company wide problems get solved now. I spent the weekend licking the wound he dealt me, now I calmly stand up. You can't demand unrealistic expectations on one person all the time and let others slide. I'm too old for this crap. Time to build my own trench, I think.

I had a lovely walk to work in the warm sunshine. Its been a rubbish summer here so far with lots of rain and i'm kind off envious hearing about you guys having a heat wave! Send your weather this way!
I walked home too, i'm trying to be healthy and they do say a walk is good for you!
This afternoon ive watched tv and spent time on the pc!

I'm waiting on my mom to call, there is a possibility I will not be going. She has blood in her urine. She freaks out if she has to go to the hospital by herself. She is seeing the dr. as we speak. I sure hope they don't send her to the hospital for more tests, the boys are going to be really disappointed.

I dont' have alot going on today. I have my rhumitologist apointment here in an hr. Afterthat i'm just hanging out with my son and relaxing the rest of the day. Im trying to get some caffeene in me so i'll have the energy to do some yoga when i get home before lunch.

Serenity same heat here. Want to tell you what I do for potted plants. I put small water bottles in freezer. Pull them out and then put in pot. They water the plant as they thaw. You may not have enough room in freezer. Just a thought.

dix- it's 105 here. do not travel without cane... no matter what. having a cane in my opinion qualifies you as looking as though you need a cane. what are you? dr. house? tell them that you have a tv job playing a normal, but in real life you have pain. i'd like to see the look on the 13 year old ticket boy's face.

it's just a matter of safety. i bought my cane the day after i fell in a grocery parking lot holding opal high enough to not get hurt. just then, a car saw a great spot to snatch and almost killed us both.

it's not so much a cane to me as a stop falling over device and a self defense structure. i sure wish i'd had it that day. "bumper no more" is what i like to think of that car and it's driver. caves are moist and slippery. don't let them tell you where or where not to cane.... what do they think you'll do? ...use it like a laser pointer... severing stalactites all around like it's f-ing star wars in there? now that i mention that...

wow... this divorce is really bringing up a lot of issues. cave destruction fantasies... that's new for sure.
