Good morning Dix,

After a difficult week, we are planning on heading to the lake today. It has been a week since we have been there and the kids are so looking forward to it. I am too. It is such a peaceful setting, truly a place to relax. It feels like we are far from home, yet we are only a 15 minute drive. Lord, help me to help my daughter with her very first "tampax" or guess where we won't be going! lol Off to bed I go for a few hours of sleep first.

My day...my day... Can we cancel today?

I hurt so bad from all the tremors, muscle spasms, constant body movement, face froze up to where I could not talk or eat and my hand did that claw thing where I could not move it (all one handed typing), I just want a day off to recoup. Really hurting today.

But since this is not Disney World I guess I will get a hold of my clients and try to get some time extensions. I don't have any miracles in my pockets.

yes, carrie, a day at the lake would be so nice. i feel like i completely lost yesterday, but i'm better and i just feel like sitting here feeling better! i don't want to do a dang thing myself!

dixie, i have a similar list. in order to sit in my chair and look at the mtns, i see the whole room and everything that needs to be done. i woke up making a list of re-organizing my bedroom...ha ha - pushing the bed, etc. no way.
mail my father's day card...mail my SSD check-in letter that's about as strenuous as i want to get!

Well, Good morning all, i am headed to starbucks to life journal and pray briefly with a few from church....we meet every friday at 6:45. I watched the clock around and coughed a lot. I had fluid put in my band yesterday and do not want to have to have it taken back out but must be able to swallow liquids....

Then I am coming home for a three hour nap and then up and at em to get cleaned up for a luncheon for the volunteer receptionists at church. Bob will leave about 1 for the coast and won't be back till about 3 in the morning....it is just too much for me plus I am afraid of freezing this evening once the sun goes down.

instead I promised him I would deal with the kitchen table....i came home last night and he had cleaned my fridge....and the floor...so I need to get my butt in gear...bathroom needs attention too and our sheets....gotta find a box for the shirts I bought him for Father's Day...if I get some sleep, I will enjoy the afternoon with the a/c and beautiful scenery....grass count is out of sight or I would open the house up...

might clean out car...but do not want to shock anyone...

Morning everyone. Sorry to hear you are hurting so bad today, RJ. Everyone sounds like they are cleaning up for the weekend.

I'm in day two of a big one and didn't sleep well. At work now and trying to finish what I tried to complete last tuesday. But it is a company picnic today at noon so it is half a day and for the first time this month, the sun is shining. I'm looking forward to talking to the new employees and catching up with the regulars. The big boss bought bubble wands and nerf guns to add to the bocci balls and badmitton. Being silly is good for the soul.

Car is in the garage and I'm hoping it doesn't cost me my dream kitchen fund.

My day is quiet so far. A shower and shampoo with conditioner and air dry because of pain.

Grandson spent the night and will do so again tonight. He is a wonderful distraction. Loves his grandpa,
but I am able to get a little love from him and spend some time watching him play games. Four is a great
age. Last night he told me he didn't want me to be his daddies mama. He wants me to be his mama.

My agenda is to at least give this rinky dink traction thing a try. Has anyone had this? It fits over the door and has a pulley system the has a heavy plastic bag that you fill with water to get the weight you need.

Now I have an excuse not to do it yet. I will wait for your replies.

Good luck with the traction, but be very carefull. I know it helps some people, but I have a terrible reaction to even the least bit of manual traction on my neck. I also can't tolerate the muscle stimulator machine so a tens unit is out.

My PT has told me hat I have extremely reactive tissue. Such a delicate thing, I am. Geesh!

I know Cherry same here. I couldn't do traction at PT. Major pain. Soooooo! My doctor said if it hurts don't do it.
I just don't want to make it hurt more. So i am thinking just don't do it.

Doc had hopes that after ESI I would be able to do it. So far no cigars.
