Morning and evening lovely hens,
Going to be a beautiful day here in TN. No plans here....a little house cleaning is about it. Dh has decided he probably won't be make it home til tomorrow morning after all.
Baby chicks are doing ok....no more losses thank goodness.
Well my son got his very first paycheck last night:) I want to keep his first check stub and scrapbook it .....IF he will give it to me. He thinks its silly. And my other son opened up a checking account......this is a little scary but I will keep a close eye on it. Out of all 4 of my boys he may turn out to be the most responsible for his age.

i had plans for today to be productive, but after waking at 3:30, i think i'm going to sit on the balcony and read and look at my plants. tomorrow i'm helping a friend's mother wrangle cats she's let breed in her yard. funno! she's very sweet and needs to move across country, so i'll save up energy for that.

Autumn I am thinking if you today. I know you are most likely in your room by now. I am just sending out some speedy and easy recovery wishes. You will be glad it is over and feel better once healed. It has been a difficult and not without worry for you to have the surgery. Just like the repair from your flooding this too will be history one day.
Kim bravo for your son getting first paycheck. I would frame it. Maybe make a cool frame like you made for your granddaughters picture. Our weather has cleared and I think will stay put for awhile. Hot but consistent.

Janie hair salon day is my favorite day. Hope you carry that relaxed feeling out of the salon and on into the day. I had no idea you had two back surgeries. You and Autumn are just so young. Hope your Doll baby is doing good. I bet she has a great personality just from looking at her pictures.
Serenity cat wrangling sounds pretty serious. I hope you and your friend's mom can find homes for them.
Many years ago our son and his wife had two females and every tomcat in their neighborhood I think fathered a litter. We were continually finding homes. Finally they both had surgery. Never happier when that happened.

My sisters surgery was yesterday . She had a complete hysterectomy for removal of uterine cancer. It will be two weeks to know for sure but the surgeon believes it hasn't spread and that he got it all. May it be so. I have only talked to her son.
My grandson spent the night last night so I got some Nana love and some giggles. Granddaughter is on for tonight. I knew she would want to because her brother was here last night. It is hard to say no to those kiddos.
