I was just thinking about all the stupid whining I do. It doesn't make me feel better and I'm sure I must sound like a broken record to all of you.
So I thought I'd start an evening thread and try to focus on something nice that might have happened today. If we think really hard, I'm wiling to bet we can each find something good. Even if it was just a moment in the day that made us think a good thought...a sensation like when I walk down a certain ailse in Dollar General just to feel the incredibly soft blankets they sell. Did a song come on the radio that transported you to a happier time?
See how simple it can be. It doesn't have to be monumental to make it a good moment in your day.
My nice time of the day was when my Brother came to see me after flying in from CA last night. He lets his hair grow before his visits so he'll be ready for me to give him a haircut. He brought along a catalog of doors for me to pick from. He's going to replace my two, very old and leaky doors so I'll finally be able to keep the cold air out! Now...how nice is that? Oh...and after he left, I found $40 on the counter!

I am still dealing with whatever, but golfed with dear friends
But the best was seeing my grandson and having him cuddle against me.
Now out to dinner for some fireman thing, the bed! Hey that is maybe my nicest moment!
That's what we have to do is think of the nice moments!
but wait non nice moments are haping here, back soon, maybe!!

I think reading this thread is going to be my favorite of the day!
All I could think is "I need some red flowers so the poor thing can eat" So tomorrow I am going to buy flowers to put in my big pots on the deck. It seems early for a butterfly . Usually they come when my azaleas are in bloom. Maybe the little fellow got lost. It looked like a monarch.

Two good things happened to me today. I had a visitor who fed me supper. Now that's a winner.
