Today I packed everyone up (mom and kids) and we went for a drive to the lake. We stopped and bought pizza. It was nice not to have to make sandwiches and pack everything up, no unpacking ect. And no clean up! Just threw the boxes in the trash! Then the kids went swimming while mom and I sat in the shade of the park and talked. It wasn't too hot today....very pleasant little outing.
For some reason it wore me out though, and now that has me worried about my trip to the cave. Will I get too tired? Will my legs give out on me during the walk. It's an hour 3/4 long!! I haven't walked that much in a long time! I'm really scared now.....what was I thinking!!! I'm deff. going to take my cane. I'm also afraid my hip will give out on me...it's started to hurt lately too. :( Worry Worry :(

even nice days wear me out...
from a little hiking experience, there're usually rest breaks and places to sit. i'd freeze a few ice packs and let them know ahead if they can accommodate they with that, but i'm sure it will be cool and they will want everyone to go at their pace.
i had some really nice chats with friends here and from previous life, a cat nap, another bit of brushing penny. a bad night and this heat really throws me off, so that was plenty for me. i'm going to bag up my vitamins for each day, so i don't miss a day.
It's in the 90s tday and the air is dripping from humidity, but the good part is that my Brother came down and installed the ACs in my livingroom and the extra room/crisis center. We'll all be comfortable tonight.
Oh yes the doctor's office called and wants to move my appointment from early Friday to late afternoon tomorrow. That is a good thing. I am not an early bird.
