The Good in Your Day

Well I got everything done I said I was going to plus I cleaned and reorganized my room. Of course I am paying dearly for it! Like serenity....begging the pain pills to hurry up and kick in!
That's usually the way I have to do it to get any thing significantly done....pay dearly! I'll be glad it's done though tomorrow. Tonight is going to be one of those early to bed nights and leave the kids to defend for themselves:(

That's a tough one, at the moment. I had PT this morning so my neck and beyond are really hurting bad. I had wanted to run a few errands, but my house was such a noisy, crowded, chaotic place that I ended up staying in.

It was over 90 again today so indoors with the AC was probably the best place for me, anyway.

My Brother and my Dad spent a few hours here putting up a railing that my Bro bought for me. He spotted how unsteady I am at times and took it upon himself to make my long set of stairs a bit safer. So that was a very good thing in my day.

My Brother doesn't know much about that kind of work so i took a very long time for the two of them to install it. I told him he'd better not give up law....

i was glad i pushed to get to the bank, so that won't be hanging over my head.

Love you guys, you know.

I finished a new painting technique today. Bees wax and pigment. Very challenging and I learned a lot. Looks half decent for a first attempt. Autumn scene with sunlight across the road.

enigma, have you ever heard of pysanky? painted eggs - they use beeswax and natural colorings (ukrainian easter tradition). it's so complex...i learned to do it, so i know how hard that is. sadly, i gave away my materials, but it's so engrossing.

hooray for you!! i hope you'll post a photo. i'll see if i can find photos of my eggs...

Oh, I'd love to see your eggs! I forgot all about that art. I'll see if I can take a decent picture of my stuff.

i have some i collected - the traditional way is to do it with full, fresh eggs, so mine cracked. now they blow them out, but if any egg goo gets on there the beeswax won't stick...this is what women did when they lived in a country with a 6 month winter and couldn't wait for spring.

for the good in my day - a good nap! needed so badly.
ate a very healthy lunch and took vitamins.
got through the apt re-cert, but now they want the whole bank statement, so i have to waste my ink to print that out. they used to just take the front page where it shows deposits. i have gotten a little extra income here and there, but it shouldn't make a difference. i hope!
