I finally dragged my sorry self to my Parents to hang out with them and my Brother who's visiting from CA. I only stayed about an hour, but I let Dad take me all around to see the many wonderful fruits and vegetables he has thriving. He absolutely loves it when anyone takes an interest.

They only live 3 streets away from me in the house I grew up in, but I don't make the effort often enough. I see them every day when they stop in to deliver my mail. Yeah...I'm a little spoiled.

I did it more for them than me. I can't believe with all the recliners, gliders and a couch that my back wouldn't stop killing me. Finally had to come home to my safe place. I prefer my pain in my own space. Both are very familiar.

My pain level is bearable and I did a couple things that I enjoyed doing. That makes a good day for me.

My husband bought me a beautiful, very fragrant "Double Delight" rose bush. It is red with a yellow center. He planted it so I would see it everyday when I leave the house. I love roses.

I took the day off to try and get this pain somewhat under control. Not winning.

twice today, i was called young lady!! not m'am. i nearly fell over with delight!!

posted the other things under accomplishments. for me, it was a great day. i think my expectations are coming more into line with my abilities (for this moment). yes, i long to do more, but all is well.

i wish the same for all here.

I spent time with my grandchildren . My husband and I enjoyed our Saturday night take out catfish. Spent some time on the deck while the children were playing. Still hot.
