Good morning.81 and climbing this afternoon. Joanne I hope you and Mario had a lovely wedding anniversary! Sounds like a very worthwhile treat :-)There was just the 4 of us at ours at Bromley registry office. Yeah if there's a huge fire all crew at fire stations in the area and outside the area if needed will be called in to help. Doug and I bought a walking treadmill. I did 45 minutes...

I had a good - mixed with frustration day. As we have soooo many August B-day's I had to get gifts for Daughter Shea and DH Mike; the last two out of six of them for the month. Whew!
Decided to go to the "real" mall as I've started calling it as the one closest to home is not doing so well. Macy's has closed and Dillard's never re -opened after the last hurricane.
So I traveled north to Baybrook Mall and when I arrived I was shocked. The parking lot was completely full. It was just like the parking lot's look on Christmas Eve - crowded with people doing last minute shopping. I drove around forever looking for a place to park. All the time thinking, what the heck is going on?? I find out later it was the Tax Free Weekend and not an early Christmas Eve after all. lol
So the good was that I found a really cute dress for Shea (on sale of course). And then when I was checking out they had these bracelets that you could "build"? You bought the leather bracelet and then you could add the letter's to spell the name. They had all different kinds of stones for the letters and also little hearts and other decoration you could add. Each one sold separately of course. :-( Thank goodness Shea has only 4 letters. :-) But I did spring for the little red crystal heart as well. Didn't set me back too far, so I guess that was a good thing in my day. But it did take me forever to find my car. lol

Cindy, I don't think I've ever had a piece of rhubarb pie. It does sound good tho'. I love sweet and tart.
Serenityha, so good to hear your pain is less. Hope you are getting perked up by listening to Pink in concert.
