i did want to add to this since i didn't even turn on my computer last night.

did take another bus trip downtown. a grand father with a little girl and boy were on the bus. he was so nice and they were so cute. i had gummy bears in my bag and shared some with them. it was such a nice experience.

i found a bbq place that was great - got take out. then called a cab (literally have to phone them). a family that still has no power wanted to share and offered to pay the full fare. i tipped $2 to a nice driver and had another nice interaction!! yay!!
