Morning Hens,
It's a chaotic morning here at my house. My husband is busy destroying my kitchen. He likes to cook breakfast:(
Oldest is running in and out. He is taking my 16 year old to work with him. They are filling up water bottles and something tells me I will have water on the floor. Even the cats are running through the house acting crazy.
This will go on for a week.:( I got woke up this morning by beating and banging in the kitchen. I'm not use to all the rackit my dh makes!!
Nothing to do today.
What's on your agenda?

88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning. I'm sitting here looking out the window at the hummingbird with the river and dike as a back drop. It's hard to invision ever leaving but I'm also a realist with aging, especially when the luncheon we had with thirty former classmates on Monday. Sandra, we get news of...

Lol, i'm getting the impression you cant wait for him to leave, even tho he's just got back!
Do i take it that your alone so much with him working away, your used to it?
I like the odd night here and there when my hubby is on lates, but i dont think i would like it if he were on lates all the time, i guess its something you just have to get used too.
Not doing much today either.
I managed to get on my side to sleep, so progress!
Hugs and peace.
Glad you got some sleep:)
Your house sounds like wonderful Chaos, Dix
And you, Empathy...Rest wether you like it or not. Did you find releif for the scab itch?
My head is still hurting, but I am painting the kitchen today. Has t be done and I do have help. Percocet day. Better get to it
Hugs buddies
Enig, make sure you open a window while you paint, dont want the head to get worse!
Kim...I knew it! I knew your husband and the mess that follows him, would already be driving you nuts. Maybe you could hide in the bedroom with a good book. I suppose a week would be a little long to spend in there, though.
Empathy...glad to hear you're making progress. I'd never sleep if I couldn't be on my side.
I agree, Angela...open a window while you paint! Those fumes are bad enough for people who don't have migraines! I love the look of fresh paint...just not the smell.
It's been in the 30s all day with a fierce wind. Needless to say, I've only opened the door for dogs!
Hugs and clucks...
As usual.......I am loving me some me time, but I know he will be coming in with a mess. Gosh how I wish for just one more day. :-) I thought I would do some ironing but decided against it as my phone kept ringing as I was on phone duty from the office. (That's my story...and sticking to it. lol.)
Kim, my DH takes off his boots..........after he has walked through the house. I put a chair in the foyer for just that. Maybe I should put that chair outside. lol. He is not allowed in the kitchen to cook at all! He doesn't know where anything is and I don't want him asking how to find things. I'd rather do it myself.
