i left the channel on TCM last night, so i turned that on, checked the news once, but i can't take any more of this senseless tragedy.
hoping to color my hair, cook a little and do a little housework. if i can, i'll get downtown to pick up a few things. still haven't gotten to laundry, but my pain is low and i'd like to keep it that way. if i don't go downtown, i'll walk in this area. i have each day this week and i hope it's helping.
Yes I am so sad and feel for the parents, I can't imagine.
I have it on in the back round because i am a very curious current event type.
Cleaned my fish tank and they are happy. Had to wait for a new pump as the old one was not keeping it clean.
A 60 dollar tank 2 years ago, charges 49 for a new pump!
Later i'll clean the kitchen as DH is baking. Every year he makes Cranberry nut bread for family and friends, so i clean up the mess.
woke to 3 inches of snow and 17 degrees, burr.
Hope all have a good day and prayers are with the families in Connecticut.
hugs
That's all...cluck
I really don't have any words for what happened yesterday, other than it made me sick to my stomach all day and night and I cried on and off as well. All I know is that pure evil walked into that school yesterday. I just pray that God helps everyone through this nightmare. God bless them & comfort them during this difficult time. As a Mother, I cannot even imagine what the parents are going through right now and for a long time to come.
As for today, my daughter and I sat down and painted our nails together. She painted her nails (and her toenails) red and green for Christmas. It looks really cute. I went with a silver glitter as I have always loved "bling". lol I did manage to color my hair last night so that is out of the way. I painted my Stepmother's box today, so I need to get off of here and go decorate it.
Take care....hugs & clucks,
Carrie
